Hot Honey Griddle Peaches

We camped at Palo Duro Canyon a few weeks ago.  We made this super easy and tasty griddled peaches topped with vanilla yogurt  & hot (spicy) honey.  Chris used his Blackstone Griddle - which is his favorite way to cook while camping.

We ate these our with our breakfast  - scrambled eggs & bacon.  These peaches will also be wonderful with homemade vanilla ice cream as a dessert!    This is so easy to make & fairly healthy!

Ingredients

  • 4 Fresh Fredericksburg Peaches (halved and pitted)
  • 2 Teaspoons of Mike’s Hot Honey (and then more to drizzle)
  • Vanilla Yogurt (we use Chobani)

Steps

  1. Heat your griddle to medium-high heat and cover with a small amount of melted butter.
  2. Cut your peaches into halves and remove the pit.
  3. Drizzle honey on the cut half of each peach - approximately 1/2 tsp per peach half.
  4. Place peach on hot griddle - cut half down.
  5. Cook approximately 8 minutes (rotating every 2 minutes) or until honey starts to caramelize on the cut half of the peach.
  6. Remove from griddle and place in bowl.
  7. Top with a 1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt.  Drizzle with more hot honey and serve.
